In the following tutorial, we are going how we can monitor the "Usage" and the "Credits" of the subscription.
Usage
The usage of a subscription can be monitored using the "Usage" tab on the subscription details page:

The tab displays the usage of the current week, by default. If you want to select a different range, you can either use the From and To date fields or select a predefined period from the "Filter By Period" dropdown that supports the following values:
-
This Week / Month / Year
-
Previous Week / Month / Year
The week period starts from Sunday and ends on Saturday, the month from the 1st of the month till the end, and the year from 1/1 till the end. The usage tab can display data at least from the previous year.
NOTE: For example, if today is the 1st of June 2021, you can get historical data as old as from 1/1/2020. |
Usage data are displayed in two variations:
-
Common
-
Imagery
Each variation is displayed in a different format and behaves accordingly.
Common usage
The common variation displays the total usage of the subscription on Sessions and Images. It also visualizes a detailed overview of each one over time using a graph:

NOTE: By going over the graph could get more information about usage on a specific date. |
Imagery usage
The imagery variation displays the total usage of the subscription per imagery provider. Initially, it displays a list of providers along with the total images that were consumed by each one:

By selecting a provider could see an analysis of its current usage over time:

Additionally, a comparison of the usage between providers could be made, by selecting more than one. The comparison functionality features also a representation of the usage of each provider as a percentage:

NOTE: A comparison can be made up to four providers at the same time. |
The usage of a subscription is spawned across workstations of the selected subscription. The view of the usage for a specific workstation, could be by selecting the "Workstations" tab and by clicking on the code of a specific workstation:

A redirection to the workstation details page will contain also the following basic information about the workstation:
-
The name of the workstation such as DESKTOP-M1.
-
The code of the workstation such as M00001xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
-
The subscription to which the selected workstation belongs to such as Plex-Earth 5 - Business Edition.
-
The date that the workstation was first activated.
-
The status of the workstation. You can find the possible status values in the Managing workstations tutorial.
-
The actual Plex-Earth version that the workstation is running on.
-
The date where the workstation was lastly seen active.
By using the DEACTIVATE button, will be able to deactivate the currently selected workstation. The process of deactivation follows the same rules as described on the Managing workstations tutorial.
NOTE: An indication icon will be displayed next to a workstation name when the workstation is inactive. |

Credits
The credits tab of the subscription details page, provides an overview of the available and consumed credits of the subscription:

It displays the total credits consumption, as well as how many credits remain in the subscription. The former is further analyzed by displaying the consumption of credits per workstation.
NOTE: The analysis of credits consumption per workstation is useful in cases where you want to investigate how a workstation performs in the subscription. |
The credits tab displays the total consumption of the current week, by default. If you want to select a different range, you can either use the From and To date fields or select a predefined period from the "Filter By Period" dropdown. You can find more details about the "Filter By Period" dropdown on the Usage section.
