When importing a mosaic, you may encounter an issue where some tiles might be missing.
An example is given in the picture below.
In this case, Tile 7 and 15 were not fetched.
If you take a look at the Imagery Manager, it also mentions that not all tiles were captured.
The reason why this occurs is that when Plex-Earth makes a request to our providers, there is a specific amount of time needed in order to acquire a tile.
As such when the connection is slow and that time is surpassed, there will be no return of an image, resulting in the mosaic missing a tile or more.
In order to not reimport the whole mosaic again, you can import just the missed tiles from the Imagery Manager.
Here are the two methods to import just the specific tiles:
Method 1. Click on the "Capture imagery" button and wait for the tiles to fetch
In this method, make sure that you do not have tiles already selected because this will result in only these tiles being re-imported.
Method 2. Select the specific tiles and capture them.
To select the tiles, click on the "Select tiles in drawing" button.
Select the tile in the drawing by creating a rectangle inside it, using the mouse pointer.
The color of the tile text will change, as an indication that it has been selected. Then, you may proceed in capturing the tiles.
The orange button in the Imagery Manager will change to "All tiles captured", to indicate that the process has been completed and the specific tiles have been fetched.
This method is preferred mostly in situations where the user might not want to import all the missing tiles.
