When using a Plex-Earth command such as Set Georeference, Import Imagery Mosaic, Import Terrain, Import KML/KMZ, etc., a pop-up window usually appears so you can proceed. However, you might encounter a case where it looks like AutoCAD is frozen or locked in (Plex-Earth ribbon is greyed out) or it seemed like the command was not working and no pop-up window shows up.
Here are some possible reasons and their solutions:
First Case: The pop-up window has been misplaced either outside of the screen or on a different screen.
This usually occurs when using multiple monitors. To bring the pop-up window back to your screen:
- Hover your mouse pointer over the AutoCAD icon in your taskbar.
- Right-click on the preview of the pop-up window.
- Select "Move".
- Use your arrow keys or mouse to bring the window back to view.
Second Case: Dialog Boxes are not displaying
You can use the FILEDIA command of AutoCAD to display or not display dialog boxes.
To display dialog boxes, type FILEDIA in the command line of AutoCAD and set the system variable to 1.
