Plex-Earth does not work with AutoCAD LT or BricsCAD Lite.
Plex-Earth is Windows only and does not support AutoCAD for Mac.
AutoCAD 2015 may work with some older Plex-Earth versions, but compatibility is not guaranteed and issues may occur.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Plex-Earth work with AutoCAD LT or BricsCAD Lite?
No. Plex-Earth is not compatible with AutoCAD LT or BricsCAD Lite. These versions do not support add-ons.
Plex-Earth requires a full Autodesk product such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and verticals or the following BricsCAD editions: BricsCAD Pro/BIM/Mechanical/Ultimate
Does Plex-Earth work on AutoCAD for Mac?
No. Plex-Earth is only supported on Windows and does not run on AutoCAD for Mac.
My CAD version is not compatible with the Plex-Earth license I own. What can I do?
Plex-Earth activation codes are issued for a specific Plex-Earth version.
If your CAD version is not supported by the Plex-Earth version you own, you can:
Option 1: Install a compatible CAD version
Install a CAD version supported by your Plex-Earth version.
Option 2: Upgrade Plex-Earth
Upgrade your Plex-Earth license to a newer version that supports your CAD release by contacting us.
Can Plex-Earth run on other CAD platforms (progeCAD, GstarCAD, ZWCAD, etc.)?
No. Plex-Earth is only compatible with:
Autodesk products (AutoCAD and verticals)
BricsCAD
Other CAD platforms such as progeCAD, GstarCAD, ZWCAD, NanoCAD, etc. are not currently supported.
Can I install multiple Plex-Earth versions on the same computer?
This is not recommended.
Installing multiple versions of Plex-Earth may cause conflicts and errors. Before installing another version, it is best to uninstall the existing Plex-Earth installation. One exception is Plex.Earth 4 which can be installed along side any newer version released after it.
Plex-Earth does not appear in my CAD ribbon. What should I check?
If the Plex-Earth ribbon tab does not appear in your CAD interface after installation, the issue may be related to compatibility, installation, or connectivity.
