Problem
When trying to activate Plex-Earth, you may see the following error message:
"Activation Code from Another Version: The activation code you entered is for a different version of the software and isn't compatible with this one."
In some older Plex-Earth versions, you may instead see errors such as:
Error 10109: Subscription does not belong to current application
Error 10124: Subscription does not belong to current application
This error means that the installed Plex-Earth version does not match the version associated with your license key. The fix is straightforward — you need to install the version that corresponds to your license.
Solution
To resolve this issue, install the Plex-Earth version that matches your license.
Step 1: Uninstall the incorrect version
Open Control Panel → Programs → Uninstall a program.
Find Plex-Earth in the list.
Uninstall the version currently installed on your computer.
Step 2: Download the correct version
Download the Plex-Earth version that corresponds to your license.

Step 3: Install and activate
Install the correct Plex-Earth version.
Open your CAD software.
Go to the Plex-Earth ribbon → My Account → New Activation
Enter your Activation Code or License Key.

How can I find which Plex Earth version my license key is for?
To find which application your license key is for, you can do the following:

Locate your latest invoice and see the version you purchased in the description

or search your inbox for the relevant email from your Plex-Earth purchase.
- If you have access to the Plex-Earth Console, you can check the version of your license in the name of the subscription on your Dashboard.
How can I check which Plex-Earth version is installed on my computer?
If you have installed a compatible Plex-Earth version with your CAD, you can see the installed version by clicking on My Account on the Plex-Earth Ribbon.
The first number on the version on the respective tab indicates your installed version, e.g. 26 stands for Plex-Earth 2026.
The format of the Plex-Earth installers goes as follows:
- For Plex-Earth 2026: 26.X.XXXX
- For Plex-Earth 2025: 25.X.XXXX
- For Plex-Earth 2023: 23.X.XXXX
- For Plex-Earth 5D: 5.5.XXXX up to 5.7.XXXX
- For Plex-Earth 5: 5.0.XXXX up to 5.4.XXXX
- For Plex.Earth 4: 4.X.XXXX
If you have installed an incompatible version (so you have no Plex-Earth ribbon), you can see your installed version from the Control Panel or Windows Apps.
What if my CAD version is not compatible with my Plex-Earth license?
Each Plex-Earth version supports specific CAD versions. If your CAD software is not supported, you may need to:
install a compatible CAD version supported by your Plex-Earth license, or
upgrade your Plex-Earth license by contacting us
