Overview
The "Oops! Something went wrong! You may try to sign in again." message is a generic error that appears when Plex-Earth is unable to initialize properly. It is always accompanied by a more specific follow-up message that identifies the actual cause.
This article explains each possible follow-up message, what it means, and how to resolve it.
💡 Always check the follow-up message that appears alongside the "Oops" error — it is the key to identifying and resolving your specific issue.
Follow-up Messages and Solutions
10000: A server error (10000) has occurred!
- Cause: This may be a temporary server-side issue or indicate that the user has a connectivity problem.
- Solution: Wait a few minutes and try again. If the issue persists, it might be a connectivity issue. To confirm the connectivity issue: Submit your Plex-Earth files for Troubleshooting.
Code = InternalServiceError Message = Start Service Failed
- Cause: Same as 10000. Often seen when there's a temporary issue or connectivity problem. If you have floating licenses, it might indicate that all seats are currently in use.
- Solution: Handle the same way as 10000. Or if you have floating, the session has to be freed up by signing out via the My Account dropdown > Sign Out or by closing CAD
Code = ydg Message = Start Service Failed

Solution:
- Floating license: A session must be freed up before Plex-Earth can start by signing out via the My Account dropdown > Sign Out or by closing CAD
- Non-floating license: Wait a few minutes and restart AutoCAD. If it persists, check connectivity or submit log files: Submit your Plex-Earth files for Troubleshooting.

FAQs
The "Oops" error appears every time I start CAD. Is this a serious problem?
It depends on the follow-up message. Some causes, such as a temporary server hiccup or all floating seats being in use, are easy to resolve. Others, like WMI issues or persistent connectivity problems, may require more investigation. Check the follow-up message and follow the corresponding solution in this article.
I have a floating license and keep seeing the 10021 error. How many seats does my license include?
You can check the number of seats included in your license and monitor active sessions via the Plex-Earth Console. If you need additional seats, contact us at support@plexscape.com.
How do I sign out of Plex-Earth to free up a floating license seat?
In your CAD application, go to the Plex-Earth ribbon and click My Account → Sign Out. Alternatively, simply closing CAD will also release the seat after one hour of inactivity.
I don't have a floating license, but I'm seeing the "No more concurrent checkouts allowed" error. Why?
This is unusual for non-floating licenses. Contact our support team at support@plexscape.com with a screenshot of the full error message so we can investigate.
The error appeared once and hasn't come back. Do I need to do anything?
If the error was a one-time occurrence and Plex-Earth is working normally now, it was likely a temporary server hiccup. No action is needed. If it recurs, follow the steps in this article.
I followed all the steps, but I'm still getting the "Oops" error. What now?

What is WMI and why does Plex-Earth need it?
Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is a Windows system component that provides information about the hardware and software configuration of your computer. Plex-Earth uses it during initialization for licensing validation. If WMI is malfunctioning, Plex-Earth cannot start correctly. See Plex-Earth Fails to Start – Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Error for troubleshooting steps.
Does the "Oops" error mean my license has expired?
Not necessarily. The "Oops" error covers a wide range of causes, most of which are unrelated to license expiry. Check the follow-up message to identify the actual cause. If you suspect your license may have expired, log in to the Plex-Earth Console to check its status, or contact us at support@plexscape.com.
